Barren Desert

I’ve sailed the cursed oceans
The tragic facts of life
We cry in masses,
We share our wounds,
But we always smile
When we smile,
All alone…

So I walked the barren desert
On foot and blazing sands
Away from all the wizards,
The suits and ties of town
Parading the desolate haven
To sit on my silent throne…
