A wise elder once said

On the anniversary of our births

Do not celebrate this day

Rather sit in contemplation

and humble in sorrow

Meditate and give praise

to the blessed womb

The sacrifices that were made

the nine months of carriage

Excruciating pains of labor

pour tears upon mother's face

Celebrate mother's grace

give thanks to her embrace

Do not joyous your birth

Joyous the glory of giving birth

of the giving of life

On this anniversary

remember the pain

mother had endured

and Love mother

ever so more.

No one comes into this world alone.
Birthday blessings to all mothers and childs!
