Bloom

The room flashed out bright
The heaviness around decided to slowly alight
Perhaps it was a vision
All I felt was, to just be a dight
this time, not the knight.

The leaves and the earth and the sky had more of a hue,
Maybe it was you…
It felt effortless to just feel
Or perhaps it was me
Maybe best to let it just be

Every expression observed.
For eternity, preserved
To reminisce, to consume, to foresee
For now, it is just to be

All that was wanted by him
was to be wrapped around her like a purr
maybe it was just desire in blur

All that was wanted by her
was to be wrapped by the mind
nothing other than that kind

Time passed by,
as it does go by

All around was now an echo
Of blue and many a hue
Asking now, was it really so?
Perhaps the effects of a momentary glue

Boom!
Who is it I hear? Is it them?
Those years reeking with the smell of doom?
Waiting in stasis for yet another gem

No.

There was a time when all was but gloom
When choices were only those that prick.
This time though, all stalks deserve a fair pick
For now, now is the time to just let it bloom…
