Waiting for a lift that gets stuck on every floor,

you decide to take the elevator

You get on with it, you get on the elevator.

You wanna take steps

But overbearing mind warns of watchful eyes;

So you abate inertia though desperate you’ve become

You get up a floor and as look over

Headstart!

The damn lift hasn’t moved an inch.
