Brace yourself

Here it comes again

Each time it thinks it can knock you down

Each time you’ve proved it wrong

It lashes out at you

Hurls with all its might

But you hold your ground

And it passes after putting up its fight

You’ve been playing this game

With the wind and the rain

For days now

They are a familiar pain

They batter you, with all their might

But you continue to push on

For you have a mountain to climb
