Loyal visitors to the rugged world,

They brush past a mountain’s rocky surface effortlessly.

Their whiteness echoing purity,

Their agility a reminder of grace,

They run their silky profiles over the mountain’s rough scars,

Touching them ever so slightly,

But with enough might to sprinkle upon them a breath of fresh air,

Before gliding on to fade the woes of yet another alp.
