Little red bird, little blue jay

Feeding from the house of seeds.

What a wonder to display

Flocks of different breeds.

Each may be different in color and song

But when it’s feeding time

They all come together, they all belong

Around the seed house hanging from the tree.

Mockingbird, hummingbird,

Each in its own splendor thrive.

No watching eyes see it as absurd,

Every bird must eat to survive.
