Common cause

From all alike,
one feature strikes
cursory glance:
the eye at once
caught by what wrought
all shades of thought
into one mind
— each, every kind
nagged by the fear
our sojourn here
is but prelude
to bad or good
fates: future states
which we dictate
by our own acts
— not knowing facts
the problem chief:
doubts and beliefs
common factor —
heart of matter.
