Conflict of Ages

These are difficult times, oh friend
Gods tears, they’re fallin’, all over again
A sorrowed soak will nourish our roots
Though bitter now, we’ll bear sweet fruits

You’ll hear all kinds of evil in news
Of men turned mad, their hearts abused
A shade has befallen the human soul
Our hearts are opened to the tainted toll

Men do not see eye to eye
They’d rather perceive “I” to “I”
There is blindness about, all across and through
Yet this means not you must follow them too

Be called by God through heart inside
Fear not the shadow, it will subside
I proclaim an end to the wicked’s reign
Though there shall be but birthing pain

A bearing to be, Christ returned
He never left, oh, ye who yearned
A second coming I proclaim, I call
Not from sky, but you, from all

Open now thy heart to Christ, his throne
Beware not this world, you’ll make it home
Delusion is programmed beneath the veil
Though God she’s set, she’s free to sail

A gospel of love will replace the future
When evil is done, so stitched and sutured
Support thyself on a pedestal of hope
Give from joy of giving, par anchor too and rope

Believe, oh believe, shadows all will die
See, oh see, she who owns our sky
Your spirit is but a dream’s deny
Your body, this flesh, must ye defy

A conflict of ages within each and all
A battle inside, our rise, our fall
Before the dawn there’s always dark
But remember those stars, how her heavens hark
