Darken with despair, Drunk on depression.
Frightened and failing, flailing in frustration.
Man-made masks covering the madness,
Sunken heart, silent sulking, serenity silenced.

Feeling deflated, flying net less,
Fishing in the flood of emotions,
darkness descends without dreams or desires,
Night falls nudging me toward Neverland.

Sliding stealthily into skepticism,
Never navigating life again,
Developing deviant defiance of death,
Running ragged, rapidly racing toward my end.

Struggling to reach the new stratosphere,
Diving in the darkness, gasping for air.
Fall into a deep dark dungeon,
Wishing I was normal and not withering away.
