Death Metamorphosis

It’s surreal and terrifying to think that people who were alive are decaying underneath the ground.

A human being with an active mind and a beating heart
Metamorphosing from flesh to ash and bone.

What makes me become self-aware of my thoughts, the movements of my limbs, and the rhythm of my heart beats is the fact that one day

They will disappear and I will become nothing more than
A life-less framework of what was once a single entity

Some people have not looked at death in the face nor have they witness it
And I suppose that’s why we don’t think much about it

But whether it be from a sudden incident in the world
Or a natural cause our bodies go through

Death is an inevitable fate
We will all have to accept and face in the end

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
