Death Star

In Loving Memory

To wish on a death star
Is to wish for one last breath
Escapes down the mouth and heart
To find air has now become death

And if the search should end here
If I should be so inclined
Then at the very least I’d have lived
And expired on my own time

Say that I should presume
To be so woefully blind
Goodness knows I’ve always wondered
About what lies on the other side

Come on this journey with me
We’ll take one step in line
We’ll force ourselves forward
And we’ll never look behind

And if I should lose the path
Then I hope you’ll keep in mind
In loving memory this one fact:
That at least one of us is blind
