Deeper, Longer, Brighter, Swifter

The deeper the night

The deeper the thoughts

The deeper the light

Shining on the fights I fought

The longer the day

The longer the wait

The longer the delight

Brought by the hand of fate

The brighter the stars

The brighter the way

The brighter my soul

That for so long was astray

The swifter the sun

The swifter the mind

The swifter the beauty

From the love that I find

I praise the night

I praise the day

I praise the stars

And the sun under which I play.
