Demons and Angels
There is a demon that walks beside
Every step along the path of denial
Mortality is the essence of this reality
Ever present, nothing to blame of misery
I came to know this demon
Fare-welled, quite pleasant, & intimately
Recognized the beauty in its misery
Calm of the storm lit by moon and stars
Every man that rise casts a shadow
Beneath along the path blazen by light
At the break of dawn the shadows arise
To walk alongside every man
Every Demon has its Angel
Cast not away the other half
Fear not the wretchedness of despair
Love for the demons as for the angels
Awakening is for the slumbered
Those that do not slumber need not to be awakened
