Misplaced desires disturb the psyche
A twisted reflection of the inner being

The wont of wants harbors the green eyed monster
Buried beneath one’s ego but above the conscious

With room to fester it will deconstruct your beauty
Replacing your moral code with desperation

To hold another’s gains in your gaze
Spins one’s compass backwards

Misdirected intentions churn the soul
Releasing the beast best left beneath
