Fight

Such is your gravity,
I wish to undress and
Show you my battle scars.
And show you my ghouls
My demons and my ghosts
And ask you, do you understand?
That I am not asking you to heal me
I just want you to see
Tell me that it’s alright...
stay with me and fight.
Fight the ghouls
Look at me with a loving eye
The demons and my nights,
Stop me from tearing my skin
And these ghostly sights,
Just brush your finger against mine
And when we fight time,
Whatever weapon we choose
A glance, a touch or kiss
Fight with me to lose...
And I will carry the memory
Of this ill-conceived battle,
For whatever pain I greet,
I will revel in our defeat.
