A response to Elizabeth Helmich’s inspiring “Brand Name”.

Hello. Glad to meet you
I was, but am not French now
I may be again, depending
On what tomorrow offers
And which me I want to be

Tomorrow I expect to meet
Yesterday’s introspective me
Who hopes to impress your she
Together, we’re anxious to see
But my spirit will remain free

If today’s me interests you
Which, the outer or inner view
Know the outer me may be new
But the inner me remains true
How about I introduce you
