Good morning my sunshine.

My dear sweet son, Shine

Bright those big blue eyes

Spheres like the sapphire sky

Peeping through the wooden crib bars.

Holding your cars blanket tight

Waking up from a restful night.

As I whisper good morning,

Your lips curve to form a soft grin.

Happiness pours from within.

The sunshine is here to stay.

You jump up, ready to start your day.

Little monkey jumping on the bed

Blonde curls bouncing on your head

Unruly and tangled adorable mess.

For you I am truly blessed.

Morning kisses every time,

Good morning my sunshine.
