Goodbyes!

Some goodbyes become so difficult,
Some hugs so unforgettable,
Though it’s someone she met a while ago,
Yet doesn’t feel like letting him go!

It’s in years that she has admired someone to this extent,
From a mentor role, he swiftly switched to a friend.
His conversations made so much sense,
That he drove this calm girl insane.

The smile which made all the problems look tiny,
The confidence which gave her a positive push.
Such a big shot investing time in me,
She promised to herself, this is what I’ll grow up to be.

Time stood still, winds frozen,
His eyes would speak a thousand expressions…!
Now when he’s gone and the aura died,
Those words still keep the fire alive!
