sunlight sincerity
in grapefruit clarity.

slicing down the middles of stars and peeling back rings till
your fingers are citrus bloodied,
and your heart is plunged in secretions.

and you are hands, arms, neck deep in swimming effervescence.

growing serenity.

comes rushing bubbling up
over me and,
spilling onto you, like-
floods of sunlight
turning corners.

today, i find joy has a mind of its own.
searching, feeding, playing with all affects of her being,

-a brilliance sweeping us all in her ecosystem.
