Have you seen the letters cry

when fires fill the sky, insanity knocks on every door
you either embrace, or fall right before
the most foolish the most noble, and the rest can sigh,
before the ancient puzzle, only fools can try

day by day, the fools grow more and more
and the womb they divided, the womb they tore
twin the blood twin the sword, the same god on every side
History writes what man has done, in ink of blood
and the letters, forever, cry

every cause is just, every call is right
for all the Dead and all those who fight
one dies, one has to die, and the wound always sore
for every cause is just, every call is right, and every shout is “aye”
’til heaven crumbles in fear, ’til fires fill the sky
