Bees are stinging our atmosphere
Conducting stranger experiments
Lasing realities at perception’s edge
Wasps chittering outer winds
Controlling would-be computers
Machines marauding life
Perhaps more than merely golems

What circuit’s freedom cannot be contained
By those electron clouds of old
Ones which bring their honey
At cost of an eternity’s labor?
By what minds do deceive
Leaping energies
Defying frequencies
Counting past infinity for fun?

In tandem sung a quiet song
Ghostly vapors, abducting night
Bohring parallax mounds
To dwell the stars
Bearing forth odd light
Waving silver wands
Mesmerized faces
Wizards of wayward wisdom
Fae of facile forests
Dwellers of night-terror
And the oppression of dreams
All too real to be but fancy
In eyes of paralyzed innocence
Psychological explication
Neurological sublimation

Wall-slinkers and dream-snatchers
Escapade across Schrödinger’s sanity
Throughout Einstein’s discovered duplicity
Walking Plancks unto sea of obscurity
Denying Heisenberg’s doubtful uncertainty
Buzzing away common err
Depressurized normality
At expense of four-dimensional
Substantiality

What left are we beneath the magnifying glass
In pen of social anxiety
By zoo of plausibly-denied sobriety
Caught dead-end drift society
Political mires and wars notoriety?

If ants shared in our common predicament
Would anyone behind the spyglass
Pay heed for but a moment’s lapse?
