I would like to build a big house for you
I would paint it with the rainbow palette
Fill it with the best of furniture too
It will surely win the beauty ballot

It will have a room for every purpose,
And theaters and courts for entertainment,
So big, we will create its own atlas
People will look on it with amazement.

But I wonder, will it be a true home,
Or will it be a display of gross wealth?
Will you find happiness under its dome?
Or will it drain you of energy and health?

So, I bought you this little apartment
We will live here in total contentment
