Lying is easy.
Take 1 ounce of imagination,
in a medium sized pot.
Add three tablespoons of plausibility,
more, it turns into a white powder of truth,
less, it blows up in your face and scars you for life.

Put it on the stove.
Do not stir,
lest you want the deceit to separate.
As the mixture thickens,
Add guilt if you have any lying around,
Don’t worry if you don’t; self-pity works as well.

Turn down the heat,
as you see the potion settling.
Your lie is ready to be tasted.
Now comes the tricky part,
‘Coz visually it is repelling,
A thick brown mass smelling of regret,
Still, make believe, and you will be in for a treat.

Do applaud (Click on the clapping hands) if you liked what you read.
