I Named Her Mirage.
Un-dust me here
Shed not a single tear
For the strayed and for the hopeless
But for the oblivious
That lives inside of us.
Un-dust .. my story here
Make the word travel
Beyond every frontier.
Beyond every hardened heart
No matter how severe.
Until .. It is loud and clear.
I named her Mirage.
Not for the sake of this stage
Not for the name of Brage
But for the mere-rage
Behind seeking
And not being sought.
I named her mirage
And this is how she bore
All the pains of yore
Until she was seen, lifeless
On the shore.
I named her mirage
For she wondered when, and where and how to start..
And then she started, all startled
And stared
Into the mirage that was her safety.
Seductive western Sirens
Here to harness her frailty
Her.. Drops of mourning dews
Her.. long-silenced screams
Her..ever-forgotten cues.
Only the lost souls will know what she means
When she glares into her escaping sanity.
Where shall I go ? Where shall I dwell ?
Her fears still.. dwell within her
Fill her.. with ills
Insurmountable.. it kills
Her .. to look into the future
It is dark.
It is unknown,
Uncertain and certainly unsafe
But she dares.. she flees
She bleeds immunity
Against the tyrant.
She is still the errant
Drained of all her freedom
Longing for some..
solace.. in wisdom
A quite wisdom
And patience…
Patience.. for what is to come.
How could she bend..
She couldn’t conceive how you can be..
Terrorized and sacked out of your land
Forever banned..
From ever returning home.
The dews , the soil and the sand
Are now foreign , meant to deceive.
She couldn’t believe.. that..
She has no choice but to leave.
I named her mirage
But her name is flocks of birds
Migrating towards..
God’s land !
Her name is exile
Her name is asylum
Her name is ..An unwarranted burden
Or so called her the western
So terrified of hosting
.. another human !
I named her Mirage
But her name is 3,770 names
Displaced and tormented
But then .. Failed..
Failed to flee..
Dead in the sea
Before everyone to see
Before reaching liberty ..
I named her mirage..
and her name is Refugee.
