Your memory…
I bury,
And unbury,
Then bury it again
When I’m bored with it
Once more.

It never fails —
I’ll dust it off
And linger
On MAGNIFIED
And D i S T o r t E d
Feelings
I derive
From memories
Of you.

Why keep you close?
Why bring this pain
Upon myself?
In constant turmoil
Of the mind,
In constant heartbreak?

Because…

It gives me pleasure
To suffer silently
As I drown
In thoughts
Of you.
