‘’you only have one life.’’

as if — you need a constant reminder of it.

What have I become? gasping on what I have done.

Surely, it hasn’t been to long gone,

As I slowly sink in sand, with every move an inch more.

Impotent to move, with a belief to prove.

All that I have improved

As I sink on the sand, with remembrance of what was done,

And a glare of what I want to become…
