Motions…

Footprints on a canvas,

impressions in time.

Long walks on shores stretching into eternity,

feet sink deep in sand.

You thrive on,

never sure of what’s ahead,

on roads that lead to nowhere,

high roads of eternity.

The great canvas of time,

ships meandering into oblivion.

You are turbulent, you are alive.

In great oceans of time, you swam.

Continuously searching in long passages.

Seeking, you become where motions lead.

You are washed out, battered by angry storms of life

still…

You walk, traveling long distances to self.

A great jigsaw puzzle, these pieces are mostly meaningless.

You hang keys round your neck,

stumbling through endless corridors,

search for doors that fit, a ghostly passage way.

We’re flock of birds, traveling through vast skies.

The rising and setting of the sun,

waves on waters, motions in time.

Elements in the great cycle of life- leaves, woods, decay, earth and sounds;

round and round we go,

til we meet again.
