Our masters and their puppets in media

Measure our worth by

The numbers on our bank balance

Ireland is a business

Ireland is incorporated

It has no room for the unproductive

Class warfare only trickles down

Demonize the dole heads

Raises for bank heads

Nama for developers

We need their experience.

Who else can rip us off

Building school out of sheds?

The world is run for the 1 per cent

It’s only common sense

A sort of natural law

Come down from the heavens

Privatize the long knives

And every man for himself

Nothing works but it’s no one’s fault!

If you’re on the streets

You should have thought

Long and hard

Before being born

Poor to hard luck story

We’re a rich society

But we can’t do anything for you

Some people are just born better

In nicer homes with nicer clothes

This is who the world is made for

We’d really like to help you

But we’re not all born equal

And the markets decide

what we’re really worth

We’re as free as we can afford to be

You are what you earn

And unless you can turn a dollar

We really have no use for you.
