Like everything blasted and blurred out of the void
our minds are made of comet and asteroid
Our thoughts are electrical-chemical fires
We can imagine dark pits, and towering spires
Love too, has toothy chasms, but also stupendous peaks,
Just embrace humanity, or discard the wounded — as freaks
We can think of our thoughts like we think of the stars
within us, around us, — but never — entirely ours
