Life has taken me unawares
Life has left me speechless
Not in a bad way
Far from it

Life has overwhelmed me
Life has thrown me curveballs
My plans are jumbled up
All noise, no signal

Life has been good to me
Life has taken me for a ride
I try to go with the flow
I try to take ownership

Life has got me thinking
Life has opened my eyes
To what greater purpose
To what end is my existence
