You put me down and pull my string.
I spin so fast and twirl and twirl.
You say you love me and then you don’t.
Side to side, around and around.
You see me spin around and around.
I spin so fast and twirl and twirl.
First, you’re there and then you’re gone.
I start to slow and there you are.
My mind is spinning around and around.
I gain some ground and start to stop.
You pull harder on my broken string.
It’s wrapped around my heart so strong.
You hold that string and won’t let go.
I spin so fast across the floor.
Under the table and out the door.
The strings too long and you pull and pull.
I spin so fast and twirl and twirl.
Side to side and around and around.
Faster and faster I spin.
I can’t see the future.
I can’t feel the past.
I can only see a glimpse of you.
Faster and faster I go.
Around and around and side to side.
Faster and faster I go.
Too fast to stop.
I’m breaking up and coming apart.
Faster, faster and faster I go.
Faster than the speed of sound
I spin and spin and spin.
Now I’ve lost control.
Faster and faster I spin.
Around and around and side to side.
One more time. I spin and spin.
Around and around and side to side
And just like that, I disintegrate…

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
