deceptive twirls and twangs.

Shedding old baggage,
room for new tragedies.

Old friends in shadows,
paving ways for ghosts anew.

Forever a misfit, an adventuress
or yet another fool
who can’t help this desperate longing
for just a fleeting sense of belonging.
