Lucidity

I dreamed my knees could touch the floor
and my chest would explode
It was a scene I was not fleeing from
Comfortable in my contortions.

But then I sat on my head to think:
If my body were to slide
Down all its curves of wild
It’d be hard to stop it from breaking
Or burying itself in the ground
As everything does at some point,
In real life.
