Sometimes it takes a friend
to show you the love in you.
Sometimes it takes years
to learn to go.
It sounds so easy,
but it’s hardest thing I know.
Maybe you’re doing better
than you realise?
Maybe life’s not a race
or a contest,
just a chance to grow?
Some grow fast,
some grow slow,
but who is to say
which is more beautiful?
Stop, take a second,
and realise,
there is love in you
and it’s beautiful.
