My Head Hurts

Last night
Out with friends
A quiet one
Or so it begins
Not a rave
A corner seat
A few drinks
Nothing neat
With some giggles
Good conversation
Catching up
This morning
It’s dawning
Cold light of day
There’s a price to pay
Losing most of today
Mixing drinks should be banned
I need a new game plan
A promise to abstain
I’ll never drink again
When is our next catchup?

My head hurts
