My Mind, the Dishonourable Thief

My humanness wants to cling,
To attach,
To project,
To believe in forever.
To relive the past.
It is a constant practice
To be mindful
To just stay
in this moment,
To flow with
To be in
Reality.
To be
Grounded,
In the concrete.
Tomorrow holds nothing but uncertainty,
Even of it’s own existence.
To taint this moment
with that uncertainty
would be to dishonour it.
What dishonourable thieves
Our minds can be,
Indescriminately
Robbing us of NOW.
