My Special Guest

Each time you visit
I want to be alone
But I want company
I want to cry
But I want to laugh

I am hungry
But I hate the feeling of food
I look so put together
But I feel so bloated
You make me sick
But your presence is reassuring

A little delay from you
throws me into a panic
I am glad you made your showing
But I can’t wait for you to leave
Believe me when I say
I want you to keep visiting
