twas a window i never climbed

for out of reach was an empty shelf i couldn’t fill

its interior never missed the likes of me, though they might have, if i had tried

but trying takes courage, you know

and courage takes being encouraged

and so the math of missed opportunity continues

How grand are those trees which are never climbed.
