No Words

She sits staring at the blank page
Words fail her
She pauses and takes a deep breath
She forcibly shuts her laptop
I watch as she steps onto the terrace

She stares at the rising sun
She turns around looking so frustrated
She screams out in exasperation
I understand just how she feels
How can something so beautiful bring so much chaos to one’s life

I try to refocus my mind
I take a short stroll
I come back to find her staring at the blank page
Time is running out
The golden yellow from the sun forces its way through the blinds

Another morning is vanished with the sun
Another day with a blank page
I sigh, she sighs
Tomorrow is another day
