You were not there
When I was impatient of waiting.
My heart couldn’t bear the pain,
I cried again and again.

You were not there
When I was giving up on life.
My hands held a rope,
I was running out of hope.

You were not there
When I was looking for answers.
My mind didn’t unfold,
I was restless through spring and snow.

After all these years,
You are here.
