Lustful thoughts flow freely as blood in veins.
Courtship talks and marriage requests prove scarce.
Today, fleeting gratification reigns.

Modesty has been archived in the past.
Low cleavage and butt selfies are trending.
Body language speaks more loudly than words.
Few find these brash messages offending.

Resistance, I elect with God’s people.
Bypass me with short-lived, errant pleasures.
Instead, just deem me a pure oddity.
Why jeopardize my heavenly treasures?
