Ocean Echoes

A mellow light swoons
Like a magical caress
Gliding over the ocean
Setting its depths on fire

I hold my breath
A dream takes shape
Pockets of my head ignite
I blend into the liquid

Feet sink into the sand
A chilly yet comforting compress
The grains are like thoughts
Immeasurable and ephemeral

The dissipating sun
The expansive water
I could dive in there
And never come up for air
