A poem

Your smile warms my heart
releasing it from a place
frozen over for protection
impenetrable from the pain
of many loves and of lovers
as the thrill of your fingers
skip across my timid palm
your eyes are seeking mine
encouraging me to open myself
to possibly loving you forever
to enter a world of passion
and never-ending love and loving
finding comfort in your arms
as those limbs draw me closer
I dare to finally breathe deeply
taking into me the sheer depth
and completeness of our love.
