Potential

This world, it would seem
Is bursting as it teems
With thinkers, doers, shakers, movers
And everything in between

People are fighting battles
For their country, or social change
Others are raging wars
In the confines of their own brains

Others produce beauty,
Or leave destruction in their wake
A few do good for goodness,
Or evil for evil’s sake

Some create from nothin’
Some improve on somethin’
Others tinker and toil, meddle and moil
I’m here eating a muffin
