Today’s Focail do a Chara

The sound of showers against the windowpane wakes me from a deep sleep. I momentarily fret about all I had hoped to do outside today.

Savor the opportunity to clear the air;
clear the cobwebs from your mind.

I listen to the drops, let them wash away the leaves, dirt, and debris from the deck, discouragements from the depths of my heart.

The storms have passed but the sky is cold. The leaves silhouette against the steel gray sky.
The clouds are hidden and I know there is a full moon beyond the horizon.

Know that the fog will clear when it is time to see.
Be on the lookout for the illumination of the sun —
what appears strange and difficult may be your next intense adventure.

The storms have passed and the whippoorwill calls in the distance, singing its song into the silence of the sudden calm.

Search for things hidden and deep,
the lies wither in the light of the sun.
Temptation comes in many forms;
is it time to say yes to the holy dance?

Remember what you already know —
see the radically new, serendipities, epiphanies, and harmonies
as part of the rhythm of life.

Remember to see the sacred in all.
