In ascending order the colors of rainbows,
majesty of nature’s creation
tokens and premonitions of freedom

grand purples majestic violets drape the
bow of the rain, amethyst hues and quartz
refraction

in fields upon pools where luck
is testified.

Indigo blue skies filled with stars
crater the violet hues like protective
mothers
while green pastures display attentiveness
alertness play,
acquiring attention for bright imagery
of the yellows oranges reds

tapestry of golden suns
gold coins crescent moons

circles around sweet pinnacles of
burnt orange tropics

sweet scents of life
invitations of creativity and brush
streaks across

tie died skies

where reds of pomegranate and grape
juices swivel and drip
down
until you can smell

the tenderness melting into
the rain’s sweetness.
