Rejection

This world tells me that I can’t feel,
They judge me without knowing the pictures in my reel.
Moments of love and care from me they steal.
Like a homeless person, I cling onto my last shreds of clothing as the world strips me bare with rejection and loathing.
In the barren place which was once my heart,
She unfurls the flag of love and then all the chaos starts.
But once again this world rips me bare,
On my knees I fall and at her face I stare.
She promised to love me but now refuses to care and into the eyes of death I lovingly glare.
