Momentary sanity or insanity
Who is the clever one?

In the moments of this darkness
Who do I behold?

Am I going blind
Or am I becoming unblinded

Are these tears for the truth
Or for illusion

Who do I behold
Where is my truth?

In this hour of darkness
I lose my reason

Maybe I’m becoming clever
Maybe I’m becoming wise

Screaming through the silence
I feel your truth

You take hold of me
Though you are the elusive one

Maybe you’ll guide me to the light

Or to the darkness…
