Scrutiny
Aug 25, 2017 · 1 min read
I see the clouds suddenly turn gray
it might rain today…
my feet then resume to walk
as I go on walking while my head tilts up
looking at the gloomy yet calming sky
I see people, strangers walking past at me
their eyes dart to my direction
as if I’m a piece of object subject to examination
A little ashamed, I lean my head down
simply watching my feet race to my destination
my throat seeks for something I used to drink, coffee
sipping an almost cold one
my mind suddenly plays stray lines and verses
“it just happens…”
How I wish to read minds
just so I could instantly know
what’s up with people’s mind
for truth to fact,
people, strangers even acquaintances
my dear friends…
a puzzle
I find so hard to decipher.
